Project Manager (Community Services)

Project Managers (Community Services) plan and administer community programs, special projects and support services, including management or staff. They are responsible for making sure that community projects are designed and completed on time and within budget.

Community Education Manager

Community Education Managers work with community groups to identify their needs. They develop appropriate services and facilities for these groups and coordinate the delivery of services in the community services industry.

Neighbourhood Centre Managers plan and provide community programs to meet the support and development needs of individuals, families and communities. Their aim is to encourage participation in a group - thereby fostering a sense of community interaction, spirit and belonging.

Coordinator of Volunteer Work

Coordinators of Volunteer Work organise the volunteers within a program or organisation. They evaluate and improve current practices and provide leadership and guidance to others in organising their work activities.

Community Work Coordinator

Community Work Coordinators oversee the sites where offenders are placed to complete community work orders, as well as develop community work programs.

Community Recreation Centre Manager

Community Recreation Centre Managers plan, promote and manage the activities, facilities and resources of a community recreation centre. They work with the community to develop a range of programs, and often lead them. They are also responsible for the day to day business of running the centre including staff and budget management.

Community Development Managers are responsible for the coordination and management of community services agencies. They work independently and report to executive management or boards of management. They may manage the finances, accounts and resources, including human resources, of an organisation.
