Small Business Managers (Franchise) run small franchise operations, usually with under 10 staff. They are often directly involved with the franchise and personally manage day-to-day operations; promote their business; manage finances and staff; and ensure legal requirements for their business are met. They may also plan or establish their franchise operation.

Consultancy Small Business Manager

Consultancy Small Business Managers manage organisations providing consultation or advisory services to small businesses. They manage projects, build and maintain client and business networks, and manage small business operations

Franchisee

Franchisees own and run individual stores or outlets of chain businesses, under licensing arrangements with the Franchisor. They manage day-to-day operations and staff; manage finances; and ensure legal requirements and any standards specific to the franchise operation are met. They may be responsible for establishing a franchise store, or take on an established store.

They manage day-to-day operations; plan, establish and promote the business; manage finances and staff; and ensure all hygiene and safety standards are adhered to. They may be responsible for devising a food safety program.
