Health Insurance

Those applying for a student visa and coming to Australia will be required to get an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
Students will be required to pay a certain amount for the duration the visa will be granted. In addition, Family members applying for a dependant visa will also be required to get Insurance cover.
You must have OSHC for the entire time you are studying here. OSHC helps you easily access medical services while staying in Australia – so you can focus on your studies and enjoy your time here.
What are the student visa requirements for OSHC?
To meet the student visa requirements for OSHC the Australian Government requires the student to have a continuous OSHC for their entire stay in Australia. Therefore, While purchasing OSHC, a learner needs to pay their policy premium upfront to cover them for the whole length of the student visa.
Singles – covers only the overseas student who is the primary Student Visa holder*
Dual family – covers the overseas student, and either:

  • One spouse or de facto partner
  • One or more children under the age of 18 years old

*Important note: Overseas students who don’t maintain adequate health insurance are at risk of having their visas cancelled.

Professional Year (PY) Program gives international ICT accounting graduates as well. from Australian tertiary providers the practical job skills and training needed to enhance their career prospects. A practical pathway from university to employment, Professional Year (PY) ensures that graduates are Job-ready. GRADUATES MAY CLAIM FIVE POINTS UNDER AN ELIGIBLE SKILLED OCCUPATIONCompletion of this program may provide the PYear graduate with five points under an eligible skilled occupation, as specified by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).

Essentially, NAATI allows people who are fluent in more than one language to become registered as a professional interpreters and/or translators.
NAATI stands for the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters and is responsible for setting and maintaining high national standards for language practitioners in Australia.
Giving a NAATI test is an ultimate bonus to add up those PR Points.

Skill Assessment

Skills Assessment is one of the important conditions that you must meet to be able to apply for some types of skilled immigrant visa such as Visa 482, 190 and 491, you will need to prove you are capable of meeting the requirements of the occupational in which you are registered, certified by the relevant occupational appraisal organization. These certificates are referred to collectively as the Skills Assessment. Having your skills assessed is a requirement for skilled migration to Australia under points tested or employer sponsored. The 482 visa Skills Assessment Program is an assessment pathway for applicants applying for a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 482), who:

a. Work in a nominated occupation and hold a passport from a nominated country or Special Administrative Region (SAR) as indicated in the table below.
b. Are required by the Department of Home Affairs
