What are the student visa requirements for OSHC?
To meet the student visa requirements for OSHC the Australian Government requires the student to have a continuous OSHC for their entire stay in Australia. Therefore, While purchasing OSHC, a learner needs to pay their policy premium upfront to cover them for the whole length of the student visa.
Singles – covers only the overseas student who is the primary Student Visa holder*
Dual family – covers the overseas student, and either:
- One spouse or de facto partner
- One or more children under the age of 18 years old
